How delightful to have such useful children in the family!  I set them to ripping down the old wallpaper in the dining room and re-painting.  I’ve always loved this memory of my grandmother’s kitchen window, where she always keeps blue glass bottles where they catch the sunlight…  In my dream house, I will have a blue-and-white kitchen with blue glass bottles in the window.  My actual kitchen, however, has no window.  So we’re making a blue-and-white dining room instead.  (Close enough!)
