Myndi and the girls came over for a whole day of cookie-baking:  chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter blossoms, tiny brownies, snickerdoodles, rice crispies, meringues, gingerbread men, and sugar cookies decorated all kinds of ways.  Oh, I wish I’d taken pictures!  What an insane pile of cookies at the end of the day!  Snowflake cookies with melted-candy middles.  Gingerbread girls and boys in outrageous frosting costumes.  Painted reindeer, bells, trees, stars, angels… ducks…  bears… a rhinoceros…

And at the end of the day, the dishes were done and most of the cookies were actually gone out of the house (thank goodness).  It was marvelous.
