Scrapbooking Day

Part 1: … scrapbooking last weekend: Getting serious about those photos from the 70’s and 80’s, not to mention the vast collection of ephemera: wallpaper scraps from the house in MA, letters from the Tooth Fairy, and – of course – my old diaries, which mostly consist of poorly-written comments on what I had for lunch and who I sat next to on the bus. Not fascinating, even to me. But I did think there might be some cute bits in there somewhere, that could be pasted into a scrapbook along with the What the hell am I wearing? photos.
Part 2: Lil E has no school today so she came to work with me. This morning as we’re getting ready to go she notices the Hello Kitty diary, and when I explained what it was, she wanted to read it. “Ok – why not?”
Part 3: Of course, Lil’ e opens right up to the page where I’d confessed to having played the “sexy game†with the dollhouse dolls (after all, it was the 70s, and they are the “Sunshine Familyâ€â€¦.) followed immediately by The Day I Stuffed my Bra with Cotton Balls.
Ha!
I think there’s some scrapbook-worthy material here after all…..
