Sacramento is really, really pretty.

Here is a nice park. Teeeeeny baby ducks, and an astonishingly gorgeous rose garden.

Grapefruit tree – hard to believe but yes, they really grow on trees.
Also a gnome in a tree.

UC-Davis is also very pretty – note the tiny ground squirrel, not in a tree.

Most fascinating… Locke, a little town on the river which had been settled back in the “Old West” period by Chinese families: sites are starting to be restored (but only just).
