We escaped from work for an afternoon out!  It’s been far too long since all the ladies had lunch together.  Downtown Durham is getting more and more interesting, especially in the Bakery category.  We had sandwiches with fig jam and lavender-flavored soda at Daisycakes.  Later Paul I and stopped by Loaf, around the corner from Scratch, and I’m intent on hunting down the new donut vendor, too….

It’s wonderful to have a day out with Liz, Em and Ro.  They’ve been like my advisory council for the last few years and I really don’t know how I’d have gotten this far without them.  Props and besos!!!!!
