There’s a wonderful metal-work forge downtown, and the owners opened up space on Saturdays for local artists to sell their wares. The invitation was wide, so I’m giving it a shot. I can’t possibly do it every Saturday, but I really love the idea of being able to sell even a few of the things I make. The Christmas ornaments do pretty well, which makes me very happy. I can’t seem to sell a hand-knit stocking, though. I think they’re really pretty, and I like the idea of a really unique stocking. But I guess most people already have one…

I know this is all a big distraction. It’s an excuse to spend tons of time on making ornaments and creating “business cards” and so on, instead of thinking about the decision I need to make.
