Props to Kenray, who told me about this ages ago.  I (can’t believe I) waited until it was available on Netflix – which it is, and all of you, my near and dear, must queue it up immediately!  It is absolutely one of the best movies about the Middle Ages I have ever seen, and also one of the most beautiful animation works I’ve ever seen.
