Learned Fair Isle and basic lacework. A little wonky, but not bad for a first try.

The hat on the left is meant to have Cthulus on it. They look like skulls. Or maybe like tulips.
The hat on the right is meant to be more like a beret. The pattern is really, really lovely – invented by my friend Gannet – and in a smaller yarn, with fewer user errors, and (ahem) skipping the accidentally-repeated-one-row-five-times part, it would look less like a bonnet. I’m casting on again.

Also! The Little Pony Express now has kitsch. V. excited about this buttonmaker I’ve borrowed….
