My brother and sister-in-law gave me the Lord of the Rings movies for my birthday (thank you Mike and Christi!) and I&#8217;ve been watching them with Paul.  It&#8217;s a huge relief to know we&#8217;re finally bridging the huge, cavernous gap in our cultural backgrounds (sports vs Tolkein).  But seriously, Mike:  when the Hobbit movie comes out I will drive my butt to wherever you are <em>even if it&#8217;s North Africa<\/em> so we can see it on opening night.  <\/p>\n<p>I might have to add a whole new post tag for Hobbit.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am unreasonably excited about this.
